✴️SOLID Points: Spec & Rules
This page explains how Points work, how you can earn them today, and what rules apply. Points are designed to reward early adopters fairly and create a foundation for future airdrop.
1. Overview & Objectives
The SOLID Points Program rewards users for holding funds in their soUSD balance and for inviting friends. From day one, every dollar you deposit starts earning Points automatically. The system is simple, transparent, and designed to grow with future features such as card usage, cashback, and DeFi integrations.
At launch, the focus is on:
Deposits: Earn Points automatically on your soUSD balance.
Referrals: Earn additional Points by inviting friends.
Launch multipliers: Early deposits earn more — the earlier you start, the higher the multiplier.
2. Key Definitions
soUSD balance: The stable balance you hold inside the Solid app.
Hour: The basic accrual unit. Points are calculated hourly based on your balance.
Daily points: The sum of all hourly accruals over a 24-hour period.
Launch multiplier: A temporary boost applied to deposits during the first weeks of the program.
DeFi Boosts: Advanced features (up to 10× multipliers for LPs, Pendle, or leverage) — these will arrive later, not in the initial release.
3. Base Accrual Formula
Every dollar held in soUSD earns 1 Point per hour.
Example:
If you hold $100 for one full day (24 hours), you will earn 2,400 Points (100 × 24).
If you add or withdraw during the day, your balance is prorated by time.
Points accrue automatically, are shown in the app, and are currently:

Not tokenized

5. Referrals
The referral program lets you earn alongside your friends.
Referrer rewards: Earn 10% of your referee’s daily Points on deposits, ongoing.
Referee bonus: Your friend receives a one-time bonus (e.g., 5,000 Points) after making their first deposit of $50 or more.
Rules
One referral code per wallet.
The code must be entered at sign-up.
Referral bonuses are valid only if the referee deposits at least $50.
Optional caps may apply (e.g., max 50,000 Points per referee).
Card-related referral rewards (e.g., +10k for card activation, +5k for first card spend, 5% card-spend Points) will be added in a later phase.
6. Optional Campaigns (if active)
From time to time, Solid may run promotional campaigns alongside the Points Program. Examples include:
Cash referral bonus: Both referrer and referee receive a dollar-based reward after KYC, card order, and first deposit.
Deposit bonus: Extra % on top of initial deposits, up to a set ceiling.
Any such promotions will be announced separately, with clear terms and limits.
7. Anti-Abuse & Eligibility Rules
To keep the system fair, the following rules apply:
Referral rewards only count after referees deposit $50 or more.
Each user may only use one referral code.
Solid reserves the right to adjust accrual frequency (e.g., hourly → daily) if abusive farming is detected.
9. FAQ (Quick Answers)
How do I earn Points? Hold soUSD in your Solid account and you will automatically earn 1 pt/$/hr.
How do launch multipliers work? For the first four weeks, early deposits earn more Points, starting with 5× in Week 1 and reducing weekly.
Can I reach 10×? Not yet. Advanced DeFi Boosts (Voltage, Pendle, leverage) will come later.
How do referrals work? If your friend uses your code, you earn 10% of their daily deposit Points. They also get a bonus after their first $50+ deposit.
Are Points a token? No. They are off-chain, non-transferable, and not tokenized.
Will Points count for future airdrops or governance? The program is designed to build a fair foundation for future allocations, but no guarantees are made.
